How to Use This Service

Sharing Your Levy

If you're looking to share some of your unspent apprenticeship levy, here's how it works.

  1. Check

Check your Apprenticeship Service Account and decide how much you want to pledge. It will state the balance you can transfer — up to 50%.

  2. Register

Log on to fcsalevynetwork.co.uk and register as a levy donor." Once approved, you'll be in the rota for receiving opportunities.

  3. Consider

You'll be given guidance explaining how to set up the apprentice fund transfer. The money doesn't go to the agency or worker — it's ring-fenced to the training provider for when they draw it down.

  4. Confirm

Requests will be sent to you for consideration. Respond to the email to confirm you wish to support that opportunity. If you decline, it will be sent to the next pledge.

  5. Share

Once the transfer has taken place, we'll aim to create a case study and testimonial for use on our websites.

Requesting a Levy Transfer

If you're looking for a levy transfer to support your organisation's apprenticeship training, here's how it works.

  1. Register

Log on to fcsalevynetwork.co.uk and register as a a company looking for a levy transfer. Once approved, you'll be able to create requests.

  2. Request

Request as many funded opportunities as you wish — simply note your chosen course and your chosen training provider when prompted.

  3. Detail

Don't forget to add details explaining your request — this helps donors choose who to give funding to and why, for example the benefits the training will bring to your company.

  4. Consider

FCSA Members will then consider funding you have requested. You can request a specific FCSA Member donor and they'll be notified. If they're unable to support your request, it will be sent to the next donor.

  5. Receive

Once your transfer has completed, we'll aim to create a case study and testimonial for use on our websites.
